Marissa Carver

Associate Director of Children's & Youth Ministry

Marissa is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but recently moved to Lexington from Atlanta, GA after graduating with her Masters of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary. She has been involved in the church for most of her life and has a special love for children and youth, Christian education, and building relationships. Marissa is currently an inquirer in the PC-USA, working towards ordination and she is excited to join the Second Presbyterian Church family! Marissa is married to Martin, and they have a baby boy named Thomas. In her free time, Marissa loves hiking, camping, reading, and going to all of the arts festivals she can find.
