Our church is seeking to be certified as a dementia-friendly church through Dementia Friendly Lexington. The Deacons are leading this effort and have already been trained. They encourage all members to review this engaging and informative presentation that describes the nature of dementia, the ways that it impacts how people experience their surroundings and people around them, and gives practical advice for how to relate in ways that are compassionate and effective.
