Confirmation is a special time of learning and discerning personal faith for youth in 8^th or higher grades. This year Confirmation will have a Fall and a Spring Retreat, once a month meetings with Mentors, and opportunities to serve in mission activities with adult members at Second.

Though not required, we also recommend that youth regularly attend the Confirmation Discipleship Pathway on Sunday mornings in 7^th, 8^th, and 9^th grades. The discussions, activities, and things we learn in this class will support our Confirmands as they prepare to begin Confirmation, are going through Confirmation, or are now living out their Confirmation promises and continue actively living out their faith at Second. Those youth going through Confirmation in 10^th, 11^th, or 12^th grade are also welcome to join the Sunday morning Pathway.

All of the activities we do during Confirmation will support youth as they continue their faith journey and prepare to confirm their baptismal promises as members of the church. Youth who have not been baptized yet can also be baptized as a part of the Confirmation service.
