We seek to provide educational and spiritual growth opportunities for all children, along with support for their families. Families are encouraged to participate in Sunday School each week and to include their children in worship as an integral part of our church family. Children and Family events are also offered throughout the year to connect with each other and our church family.
Our nursery for infants and very young children is well equipped and staffed by trained personnel, including Director of Nursery, Kate Owings. The Nursery is available from 8:15 am – 12:15 pm for infants through age 5. We also have a crying room located under the with sanctuary with closed circuit TV available so you can still enjoy the service. If you need help, please ask an usher.

W.O.W. (11:00 service)
During the 11:00 worship, childcare is provided in the nursery for children up to four years old;
Children age 3 (potty-trained) through 5th grade are invited to attend W.O.W. (Worship Our Way). Children will be dismissed from the sanctuary to head to the Third Floor for story time and special music. Our Storyteller creates an environment of imaginative learning as we journey on adventures through our desert box, on the road to Jerusalem, or open the gifts inside the parable stories. Our Children’s Music Director leads the children in singing and creating music with a wide range of instruments and styles of music: from church camp songs to hymns. Parents may pick up children from the Third Floor children’s Music room following the 11:00 service.
The ministry of our Ecumenical Preschool, which our church operates in partnership with Christ Church Cathedral, is to “mirror God’s love for children in all we do.” The population is cross-cultural and multi-age, ranging from 1-5 years old. Scholarships are available. Check out the Ecumenical Preschool page on our website for more details or call the church (254-7768).
