Dr. Gary Anderson

Director of Music & Covenant Choir

Our music program aims to provide a sense of community, community within a choir, community between choirs and congregation. All are welcome.

With undergraduate studies from Millikin University and graduate degrees from the University of Illinois, Gary has served as director of music in numerous churches both in Illinois and in Lexington. He is Professor Emeritus at Transylvania University and he recently retired as Artistic Director of the Lexington Chamber Chorale, a professional chorus.

I enjoy hiking, fresh air, and a good read. (Sunday afternoon requried reading is the New York Times.)
