Annual Children's Ministry Events
Advent Workshop
Advent Workshop is held from 3-5 pm on the first Sunday in December and all ages have ways to get involved and kick-off Advent! Children through 5th grade are invited to bring an adult family member and visit our 12 different stations to make Christmas crafts to keep, give as gifts, and celebrate the season! Adult and youth volunteers work in teams to lead children and their family members in making the crafts. Past crafts include ornaments, Christmas games, Advent Countdown, wreaths, Advent candles, nativity scenes, Christmas decorations, Reindeer food, and a Christmas Photo Booth. This is a beloved annual tradition at Second Pres, and a fun way to celebrate Advent together as a church family!

Christmas Pageant
VBS
2027 Vacation Bible School will be held July 12-15 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. This is for children ages 3yr to 5th grade. More information will be forthcoming.
Communion Class
We invite all children age 3rd grade and above to our Communion Class on September 16 from 6-7:15pm to learn all about communion and then participate in taking communion with one another. On communion Sundays, a WOW volunteer will bring children (3rd grade and up who have attended the communion class) back downstairs so they can take part in communion during worship.
