SECOND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Second Presbyterian Church Landscape

On this page, we follow some of the landscape features of the church as they develop through the year.  The church yard has experienced many changes over the past few years due to the construction of our new Fellowship Hall. Construction was completed in 2003 and the yards were restored in 2004. In 2005 and 2006 we saw the results of new plantings in many places and the renewal of the older areas.  Since 2007, the plants have become more established. The landscaping is supervised by Second member Rett McGoodwin.  Some of the plants shown belong to our neighbor, The Woodlands, whose yard merges seamlessly with ours. If you detect errors in plant identification or have other comments, please contact the webmaster.

Most of the dates given below were for pictures taken in 2005.
