VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
CHILDREN & ADULTS
July 21-24,
2003 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.

  • Each night, Vacation Bible School began with dinner at 6:00 p.m.
     
  • Rancho Roundup ButtonAfter dinner, children 3 years of age through 5th grade headed for Rancho Roundup to hear about Jesus, the good shepherd. Through Bible stories, memory verses, crafts, skits and song, the children learned how Jesus loves us, cares for us, gave his life for us, and knows us.
     
  • Pastor Holly had special projects for the youth (grades 6-12).  See list below.
     
  • Adults had their choice between
    • Book Discussion: A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23” led by Joyce DeAeth,
    • “Visual Parables: Faith and Films” led by Stephen Palmer
    • “Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts” led by Darla Blatnik.
       
  • Nursery was provided for ages 3 months through 2 years.

YOUTH VBS PROJECTS

Monday, July 21: Cambridge House. We will play bingo with the senior citizens and bring them much joy. For those of you who play instruments, sing, or write poetry, the residents would LOVE for you to share your gifts with them.

Tuesday, July 22: Central Kentucky Riding for the Handicapped. Wear your old clothes and your tennis shoes because we will be in the barn ready to work! Hope you like horses!

Wednesday, July 23: Kids Café Cookout at the Park! Yes, we get to visit our friends again from the Harvest Worship Center, plus we get to meet their parents too. Please bring soccer balls and frisbees for our cook out.

Thursday: July 24: Catholic Action Center. Please arrive at the church at 5:30 PM on our last evening together. We will go and feed the homeless and then celebrate the end of our Mission VBS week at Coldstones.
