Vacation Bible School For Children
Cruisin' the Amazing Amazon. Pinkie, the Amazon River Dolphin invited the children of Second Presbyterian to join him and his friends for some fun and adventure as they “cruised the amazing Amazon” to discover how Jesus loves and cares for each and every one of us! They enjoyed active experiences that helped them learn how Jesus guides, shelters, defends, rescues, and provides for THEM! Using the beautiful and mysterious Amazon rain forest as a backdrop, children engaged in fun games, meaningful activities, and cool crafts - all with one purpose - to learn about the amazing ways Jesus cares for us. Children ages 3 years to 5th grade joined the excitement!

Vacation Bible School For Adults
Rev. Kent D. Berry-Clergy Member of the Presbytery of Transylvania: “It’s a Jungle Out There: Living in our Unsettled Times” A blend of Biblical Story and Contemporary Fable. Concepts from the field of Marriage and Family Therapy that help to bring calm into one’s life during these anxious times.
Rev. Stephen Palmer—Second Presbyterian Church: Listening For God, Volume 3 by Paula Carlson and Peter Hawkins. Listening for God helps readers investigate how life and faith merge in surprising ways and places. Study began with Wendell Berry’s “Pray Without Ceasing”.
Kris Bentley, Shawn Caudill, Alice Thornton: Sexuality Workshop for Parents of Younger Children About parenting issues and learning how to teach children about sexuality at home, using the Presbyterian Church (USA) sexuality curriculum.
