Born and raised in Cincinnati, Dan obtained degrees from Denison University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He has served in Presbyterian churches in Pittsburgh, Milford, and Gettysburg. Dan came to Second in 2008 as an accomplished author, lacrosse player, and mission team leader.

A native of Lexington and a graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary, Steve has been an associate pastor at Second since 1991. He served four other churches in Central Kentucky before coming to Second.
 

Diane's prior assignments include Minister for Youth at First Christian in Berea, Job Corps Business Relations Specialist, Campus Minister, Religion Teacher, and Director of Adult Formation. She has a B.A. from College of St. Francis, an M.A. from Catholic Theological Union, and a Certificate in Spirituality from Boston College. She also teaches English part time at Eastern Kentucky University.

Barrett is a recent graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary and was ordained at Second in 2009.
 
 
 

Tina and her husband, Ward, have been members of Second since 1997. They have one son, Gray.
 
 
 

Jackie earned a BS in nursing from Northern Illinois University and holds a certificate in Parish Nursing from Marquette University. Her career focus has been community health. Jackie is a volunteer for Safe Kids Coalition and is a board member for Family Care Center. In addition to Parish Nursing, she is also a clinical instructor in Health Promotion for the U.K. College of Nursing.

Holly and her husband, Todd, have two children, Andrew and Anna. They have been members of Second since 1990. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Holly also serves as the church’s Wedding Coordinator and is Community Outreach Coordinator with ITN Bluegrass. 
 

Kristy is currently working on a M.Div. at Lexington Theological Seminary and an MSW at UK. Her prior experience includes working as a recreational therapist in a variety of settings. She and her husband Jeff have two children, David and Zach.
 
  

Joann’s family consists of Charlie, daughters Anne and Charlotte, son-in-law Craig, and grandsons Teague and Reece. Joann has lived in Lexington since 1961 and is a retired teacher with forty years of experience. She has worked as the Director for ten years, has an MA in early childcare, and undergoes regular CPR training.

Stojanka started working in the Nursery twelve years ago. She previously worked for the Bellewood Presbyterian and the Buckhorn homes for children. She is currently employed fulltime at the M.A.S.H. emergency shelter for kids. She has had several types of training, including CPR, first aid, behavior management, cultural activities, and life skills.

Anne serves the Lord by working at Second Presbyterian Church (12 years) and at Centenary Methodist Church (6 years). She is certified in CPR and in childcare and undergoes regular training.
 
 

Nellie is a mother of three. She enjoys working with children and has worked for several years in the Nursery.
 
 
 
 

With undergraduate studies from Millikin University and graduate degrees from the University of Illinois, Gary has served as director of music in numerous churches both in Illinois and here in Lexington. In addition to his work at Transylvania University, Gary is Conductor and Music Director of the Lexington Chamber Chorale, a professional chorus.

Martha is a music instructor at The Lexington School. She is a member of the Lexington Chamber Choral and previously served as organist at First Presbyterian Church. Martha is a graduate of Millikin University. She is married to Choir Director Gary Anderson.
 

Donna is the Coordinator of Music programs for Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill Kentucky and Director of Music for The Pleasant Hill Singers. A native Kentuckian, Donna is also a graduate of the University of Kentucky with degrees in Music Education and Music Performance.

Mollie is a native of Lexington and a member of Central Christian Disciples of Christ Church. Mollie is married to Jim Sawyer and they own Sawyer's Downtown restaurant.
 
 

Shawn has two boys, Justin and Kevin, and one daughter, Taylor. Shawn and her family returned to Lexington, her home town, in 1998. She is a member of Southland Christian Church. In her spare time, Shawn likes to travel and spend time with her children.

Paulette was born and raised in San Diego, CA and moved to Kentucky in January of 2008. She has two grown daughters and 6 grandchildren. Her passions are her daughters (Laurie & Becky), grandchildren (Hunter, Kailey, Jesse, Malachi, Autumn & Shaina) and a love for animals, especially dogs. She has shown her Shelties in Conformation, Obedience and Herding for over 30 years.

Bob relocated to Lexington from Long Island, N.Y. with his wife Janie, a curator at the University of Kentucky Art Museum. 

 

John came to Second Presbyterian Church in 2001 as a part-time doorman / security. John is now working as a full-time custodian because he loves working for the members and with the wonderful staff.
 

Rick was born in Milwaukee WI and moved to Kentucky in 2001. He has been married for twenty years to a wonderful wife. They have four children and five grandchildren. Rick enjoys fishing and cooking.
 

Charles is a native of Union County, Kentucky. He has two brothers, Micheal and Berry, and two sisters, Charla and Ivy. Charles is attending the Kentucky Community and Technical College with hopes to get into the Radiology Program.
