God’s Pantry
Each month, Our First Sunday Offering of food for God’s Pantry is received. You are invited to bring non-perishable items and place them in the blue barrels located at the entrances to the church. Second Church donated 1,454 pounds of food in 1999, plus budgeted support of $3,000 plus additional gifts of $3,290. Such gifts help provide nutritious food to more than 2,000 needy Fayette Countians monthly. Additionally, they are able to distribute more than 250,000 pounds of salvage and surplus food throughout a 48 county service area because of our support. |
