MISSION ~ SECOND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Morris Fork Crafts Center

Second Presbyterian supports this unique Eastern Kentucky crafts cooperative that provides sales opportunities for native crafters to market their products. Morris Fork assists artisans who wish to remain in Eastern Kentucky and make a living from the production of handmade crafts.

The Center is about a two hour drive from Lexington: take the Mountain Parkway to the Slade exit, Highway 11 through Beattyville to Booneville, and Highway 28 toward Buckhorn to the turn-off for Morris Fork.

Each fall, products from Morris Fork are brought to Lexington and marketed at Second's Annual Mission Craft Fair. For more information call Jo Hepburn, a Morris Fork Volunteer, at 278-6640.

The Crafts Fair is September 25 in 1999.

The 20th annual Morris Fork Crafts Fair was held Saturday, September 26, 1998 at the Morris Fork Crafts Center. There was food, music, entertainment, and crafters working at their crafts. Lunch was served in the church. Crafts and baked goods were on sale.
