YOUTH PROGRAMS

In July, 2001, Holly Fuqua began her work as Youth Minister. She oversees an active program for middle school and senior high youth which includes Christian education, fellowship, and challenging service opportunities. In the past, youth have participated in area-wide and national church retreats and conferences, white-water rafting and skiing excursions, and a variety of summer mission activities.  The youth prepare and lead a special worship program each year on Youth Sunday.

We seek the voices and visions of young people to be present in our congregational life. Guided by a youth council of adults and youth, and a team of committed leaders, the middle school and senior high youth meet every Sunday evening for a meal and a program. Together they explore what it means to be a Christian youth in the world today.
